Sandy is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy which she practiced for 12 years. She took courses in accounting prior to becoming controller of Northwest Lumber & Hardware, a family owned business which she and her husband sold in Nov 2005 after 21 years of ownership. As controller for 15 years she was instrumental in devising and implementing a just in time perpetual inventory system for the lumber yard which had 16 million annual sales and a nearly one million dollar inventory. Since late 2005 she has been working with FoxFales, Inc to write the tutorials for Office Inventory Ordering and has recently started to consult in practices to help set up and implement the program. Sandy is also proficient in the use of QuickBooks and during her time with Northwest Lumber assisted many Contractors to efficiently set up and use QuickBooks for their businesses.
Sandy enjoys time with family, travel, and reading. She also likes solving puzzles which is why she likes to consult and write tutorials for FoxFales. It’s always a new challenge and a new set of puzzles to solve.
